Exhibition 2016 - Social Enlightenment, Art/Humanities
For the painting I worked with a partner, I feel like the work was divided fairly evenly. Since there were two people on our painting we each painted one, and did the same with the background. I may have done a bit more work then my partner, but that was really just because I would work much faster. On the hair story my group didn’t really want to work, I ended up writing the original script for the play, but in the end we didn’t end up using it. I also was the main character in the play. I also designed the t-shirt and poster for our play.
For our next exhibition I would like to keep in mind how evenly divided the workload was for this one. It felt like no one was doing a lot of the work. It was all pretty equal. I think that made the exhibition process much less stressful.
The Habit of Mind I used the most when working on this exhibition was Connection. I felt like it was very easy for me to connect the art piece back to the theme of the exhibition and the real world. I was also able to see how the topic was bigger than just comic books themselves. I think seeing that connection helped me be able to answer peoples questions and connect it back to the real world.
